Mike’s constituent servicing is his primary Council obligation! Mike intends to inspire more citizens to become more engaged pertaining to City affairs and issues. Establishing effective two-way communications is essential to knowing and understanding the citizens' concerns, as well as ensuring citizens are informed about City issues and policy positions. Understanding fosters “buy-in” by the City’s #1 stakeholders—the citizens! Mike plans to stand up scheduled town hall chats throughout District 3 and form community contact teams for each of the District’s neighborhoods. Information sharing and gathering will be the objectives. Effective and collaborative communication is crucial to understanding the concerns of the citizens and properly addressing them.
